Lava Hot Jass Band has been performing regularly in Arizona since 2017 for swing dancing events, private parties, weddings, funerals and more. Sexy blues, roaring 20s swing, second line parade… you name it, we’ve got it! The band members are passionate about making fingers snap and toes tap while bringing that swingin’ rhythm to noisy public halls and special events.
Bandleader Wen is a professional clarinetist who has a love for traditional New Orleans style jazz. Together with some of the highest energy cool cats in the Phoenix area, she formed the Lava Hot Jass Band to meet the demands of music lovers and swing dancers.
